The building, located on the corner of Atlantic and Ocean Ave. right past the Pathmark, was built in 1967 and is on sale for $575,000. The interior size is 3,600 feet, and the space features eight to 10 parking spaces in the front.
The building also has two bathrooms and central A/C. One oil tank on the top of the building has been removed and another on the ground will be removed shortly, and the building is currently being cleaned up to code, according to agent Carla Raso.

The fact is.....the store would STILL be an auto parts store if the landlord hadn't been so greedy years ago and demanded a HUGE rent increase from the store owner. That owner still runs another excellent and thriving auto parts store in Wantagh. I'd like it to reopen as an auto parts store.....it is an excellent and convenient location.

$575k is a huge chunk of money for this store that looks like it needs to be gutted. Retail is dying. The place is empty because anyone with big bucks probably can buy
another place in better shape. Also, it's in a flood zone near the creek.
